Nilesh Kumar Singh, the Assistant Registrar at Anant, has expertise in educational administration, regulatory compliance and management of large-scale educational projects and initiatives. His roles have spanned across different regions and involved significant responsibilities in enhancing educational processes and systems.

At Anant, he supports the Registrar Office in regulatory and statutory compliance, IQAC coordination, ranking, government portals, university record repository and daily affairs.

Nilesh is a BTech graduate from Dr MGR University, Chennai, with a specialisation in Computer Science and Engineering. He has also pursued a Master of Arts with specialisation in Education from IGNOU, New Delhi. This combination equips him well for roles that involve educational technology, ICT facilitation and management within educational institutions.

Before Anant, he worked as an Executive Officer with the National Institute of Open Schooling and was responsible for the ICT facilitation, skill education, academic ERP, student support and administration in the Admission and Examination Cell. He has served in the jurisdiction of Delhi NCR, Western parts of UP, parts of Haryana and the entire state of Jharkhand. Nilesh also supported government projects with a large clientele, like the Tejaswini Project and DELED in Jharkhand.

He worked for Amity University, Jharkhand, as a Section Officer, where he was assigned to take care of Statutory and Regulatory Compliance, University Repository, IQAC Support, Government Portals and University Reports.

Nilesh’s strong interests in research and publication are centred on Open Distance Learning (ODL), particularly in the contexts of school and adult education. This focus demonstrates his commitment to enhancing knowledge and practices in these fields, which may contribute to the development and improvement of educational methodologies, policies and technologies associated with distance learning.
