The Career Services Office (CSO) supports students in finding a suitable opportunity as they graduate from Anant. The CSO facilitates interaction between academia and industry to provide greater exposure to students and create opportunities for real-world learning through classroom projects, industry projects, internships and training. The CSO strives for prospective employers and students to find a mutual fit.

STRATEGY
The University has state-of-the-art infrastructure to facilitate recruitment activities. It has a dedicated Industry- Interaction cell with exclusive space for group discussion, interviews and dining facility. It also has the following facilities:
- Dedicated access to computer laboratories for conducting online tests/conference and interview rooms
- Video conferencing
- Guest house for corporate visitors
The CSO conducts numerous activities to find placement and internship opportunities for Anant graduates:
- Skill Enhancement Workshops– The office conducts sessions on resume building, on writing a cover letter, holds pre-placement talks with industry experts. It also organises web sessions on study abroad opportunities.
- Industrial Visits and Facilitating Study Abroad Opportunities – The office organises industrial visits to build a relationship with industry and create career opportunities. It maintains a database of architecture and design firms and communicates to them about the talent available that may be recruited. It also connects students who are interested in pursuing further studies to universities abroad.
- Develop relationship with companies that employ alumni
- Deepen relationship with companies that provide internship opportunities
- Organise pre-placement talks by companies
- Conduct mock interviews, skill-development workshops, encourage students to build rapport with alumni and other professionals in the field of their interest

This helped me secure a job as a user experience designer at one of the well-known organisations.
The career service office remained approachable throughout and helped us prepare and develop clear communication strategies. The one-on-one session helped me to come up with better questions and understand career services role better. Particularly, It helped me focus on my sub-domains and listed firms thereby strengthening my research skills. Soft skills session helped me develop an ability to quickly customize according to the firm and bring the relevant details in my resume.
The CSO provided us with various platforms to showcase our skills. Additionally, it helped me learn soft skills, through multiple workshops and expert sessions, which are highly required in our professional journey. Being at the right place with the proper support is half the work done in finding an appropriate job. Despite the global pandemic and the economic crisis, Anant's Career Services Office was active in arranging opportunities that aligned with my interests. The team empathised in understanding my passion for content creation and gaps concerning it. They organised sessions with experts and Fellowship faculty to help structure my thought process and framing the right mindset. The team helped me secure the position of Social media manager at E-squared, a digital marketing and consulting firm for educational institutes. The support they extended towards me beyond the professional terms and helped me gather additional skills is commendable.
The Career Service Office remained active throughout our association at Anant and provided us with relevant job opportunities and skills enhancement workshop on timely basis. The office helped me cultivate professional skills such as building resumes and preparing for the interview through workshops and mock-up sessions. The office scouts worked relentlessly and followed up with recruiters till we received job offer letters.
The education at Anant is designed to help students understand the corporate world and equips them with skills demanded in professional life. Career services especially are an important part of the Fellowship journey. It has helped many Fellows like me to explore various job opportunities and secure placements with reputed firms. Their activities honed our skills and kept us motivated throughout the process.
