Deepak Dadheech

Deepak Dadheech, an Assistant Professor at the School of Design, is a seasoned scholar who brings diverse professional experience in industrial design, having worked with leading organisations such as Rotimatic and Leo Burnett.

At Rotimatic, he led the design of accessories, packaging and user guides, enhancing product functionality and user experience. At Leo Burnett, he applied creative engineering principles to deliver award-winning projects, including campaigns for PepsiCo, which were recognised with Cannes Lions awards. His experience also includes modular furniture design and sustainable design projects at Bamboo Studio, IIT Bombay. With a focus on innovation, sustainability and user-centric solutions, Deepak has consistently delivered impactful designs across industries.

Deepak holds a Master’s in Design (MDes) from IDC, IIT Bombay, specialising in industrial and product design. He also earned a PG Diploma in Product Design and Analysis from the CADD Centre, Bengaluru, and a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from Rajasthan Technical University, Kota, building a strong foundation in design and engineering.

At Anant, Deepak works towards integrating his expertise in sustainable design and research with education to inspire future designers and contribute to building a more sustainable world.

Beyond academia, Deepak loves to engage with students and inspire them to think critically, embrace sustainability and engage with real-world challenges. By mentoring and encouraging hands-on learning, he strives to shape empathetic designers who create solutions with purpose. Additionally, he advocates for community-driven initiatives, interdisciplinary projects and innovation that transcend the classroom, empowering individuals to contribute meaningfully to society and the environment.
