Congratulations to all our graduands from the Class of 2025 on reaching this incredible milestone. This year, students from the Bachelor of Design, Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Design, Anant Fellowship in Sustainability and Built Environment, MSc in Sustainability and Built Environment and Anant Fellowship in Climate Action will be conferred degrees.

Additional Information

 

  • All graduands are required to complete their registration for the Convocation ceremony, whether attending physically or not.
  • Each graduand is welcome to bring up to two guests to the Convocation Ceremony. Guest details must be provided while filling out the registration form. The venue cannot accommodate more than two guests per graduating student.
  • The Convocation Ceremony will be live-streamed. The link will be available in the Live Stream section of the webpage.
  • Students attending the Convocation Ceremony in person must report to the Registration Desk on campus to collect their academic regalia and registration slips, which must be carried during the ceremony. Anyone who hasn’t completed this step will not be accommodated.
  • Students participating in the Graduate Show must set up their displays at least a day before the Convocation.
  • If you are unable to attend the ceremony, your degree will be sent by courier to the correspondence address provided in the registration form. Alternatively, you may collect it from the University at a later date with prior notice.
  • All standard safety protocols will be followed during the ceremony.

 

* Detailed Convocation Ceremony itinerary and specific details (date and time) about reporting time, collecting academic regalia and setting up the displays for the Graduate Show will be shared shortly.

    Check for Holds
     

  • Clear any financial or administrative holds on your account (fees, library dues, etc.).
  • Complete any remaining forms, including graduation clearance forms.
  • Attend the Graduation Briefing : Attend the rehearsal session to understand the ceremony procedures.
  • Join Alumni Association : Sign up with the Anant Alumni Relations Office.

  • Arrive on Time : Arrive at the venue at the specified time for further proceedings.
  • Follow the Dress Code : Ensure you follow the University’s dress code for the ceremony and drape the stole in an appropriate fashion.
  • Participate in the Graduate Show : Ensure you display and present your work at the Graduate Show.

  • Complete Survey : Fill out any post-graduation surveys sent by the University for feedback.

Convocation Day Guidelines

 

  • Ensure you carry your convocation slips upon arrival. Graduands without their convocation slips will not be allowed entry to the procession.
  • Confirm your attendance at the Registration Desk.
  • Assemble for the Academic Procession. The procession will begin at the scheduled time, so late arrivals may not be allowed to join.
  • Take your allotted seats after the Academic Procession (complete seating arrangement will be shared beforehand).
  • Accompanying guests will be seated in a separately designated area before the start of the ceremony.
  • Applauding fellow graduates is encouraged, but please refrain from loud cheers or disruptive behaviour during the ceremony to maintain its decorum.
  • Keep the phones silent and avoid calling during the ceremony.
  • Once the ceremony concludes, please join the Retreating Procession in order when called upon to do so.
  • A celebratory dinner will be held following the ceremony. Students and guests are invited to join.

 

Dress Code

 

Ensure you follow the University’s dress code for the ceremony and drape the stole in an appropriate fashion.
