Parth Atulkumar Shah wears multiple hats at Anant National University, serving as both an Assistant Professor at the School of Design and the Manager of Makerspace. As the manager at Makerspace, he oversees the entire operation, from procuring new machines to managing administration, stocks and purchases. Parth’s technical expertise shines through in his ability to create proof of concepts, mockups and prototypes, adding value to the university’s innovative projects.

As an Assistant Professor in the Product Design department, Parth teaches modules such as Design for Social Impact, Design for Smart Objects, Digital Manufacturing, CAD Design and Product Design Studios. With eight years of teaching experience, he brings a lot of practical insights to the classroom. 

Before joining Anant, Parth served at the Sal Education Campus, primarily in the Mechatronics Department and Incubation Centre, contributing to institution-building, teaching and research activities. He actively represented the institute at various prestigious platforms like the Vibrant Gujarat Summits, i-hub startups conclave, Education Expo and i-Create. 

During his academic journey, he undertook dissertation projects at Transformer and Rectifiers India Pvt Ltd and completed his Diploma project at the Institute for Plasma Research in Bhat Gandhinagar.

Beyond academia, Parth is deeply engaged with startups, lending his expertise to mentor students and accelerate their ideas into viable ventures. Through his roles and extensive experience, Parth contributes significantly to nurturing creativity, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit within the academic community.
