Jabir is the founder and CEO of Green Worms, an organisation that manages more than 200 metric tonnes of dry waste and more than 3000 kilograms of food waste per month in Kozhikode, Kerala, India. The organisation works on non-valuable waste that has not been picked up by traditional rag pickers and kabadiwalas in India. Their waste management techniques comprise heavily innovated processes such as drawing vitamins from expired medicines and using the extracts as fertilizers, or using specific expired food products as fodder for animals. He is an Acumen fellow and a TEDx speaker and has been published in many newspapers for his work.
