Bhamini Jain

Bhamini is an environmental activist and artist. She is committed to creating ecological and socially inclusive spaces and promoting policies and projects with those goals. She works with Edible Routes Foundation on permaculture, environmental sustainability and education projects. Earlier, as a freelance photographer and visual artist, Bhamini created design content for flyers, banners, posters and brochures as well as information-based visual content for promotion or creating awareness about the environment. Bhamini is trained in qualitative transdisciplinary research and has a background in social sciences, critical theory, sustainability and feminist studies amongst others. Passionate about going green, Bhamini was the Instructional Garden Assistant at Soka University where she studied. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts – Social and Behavioral Sciences from the Soka University of America, California, and a Diploma in French from Aix-Marseille University.
