Dhaval Darjee is an architecture graduate from Dr Bhanuben Nanavati College of Architecture for Women, Pune. She has more than six years of experience in projects focusing on environmentally sensitive spaces. She is an alumna of the flagship programme Anant Fellowship in Built Environment (2019-2020), where a team of six members comprising architects, designers, environmental engineers, and civil engineers worked on the Live Action Project – C&D Waste Management. The team identified the core problem and proposed the marketplace “Beyond Recycle” for builders and demolition contractors to reduce the C&D waste going to the landfill. Her interest lies in futuristic design, urban farming, entrepreneurship and waste management. Currently, she works as Incubation Associate for Aarambh Incubation Centre at Anant National University.
