Ocean of Stories is a short experiential documentary explored during Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj. Being one of the minute particles in the world’s largest gathering, it brings the personal experiences in Kinnar Akhada, a religious organisation for the transgender community. It documents complete, incomplete and confusing encounters with people and philosophies. The film and material collected during 30 days in Kumbh serve as a pilot for the Museum of Material, an initiative exploring storytelling through material, memory and media; expanding the story into curatorial and educational practices; Film as Museum, Museum as Film.
