Blueprints of the Unfamiliar
The project is a practice-based research which explores craftsmanship through defamiliarisation. The project does so by reimagining single-use plastic as a material of value. Each experimental stage revealed new properties and techniques, transforming discarded polybags into crafted products for spatial use. It encourages seeing the overlooked with fresh eyes, crafting meaning, beauty and purpose from the ordinary.
