Design is a discipline that combines our creative skills with our critical thinking abilities to bring about innovative and transformative solutions. Given that the real purpose of schools and their education is to mould their students into problem solvers, it is imperative that young learners get introduced to the discipline of design and its practice. Design Thinking and its inculcation amongst our young students is strongly recommended by the National Education Policy 2020.

About the Programme
The Anant Design IsCool introduces students and teachers to the world of design through hands-on modules on product, communication, interaction and sustainable fashion by eminent designers
- Hands-On Workshops: Learn Design fundamentals and cutting-edge techniques.
- Inspiring Practitioners: Learn from Industry experts sharing insights and stories.
- Creative and Critical Thinking Skills: Develop and harmonise creative and critical thinking skills to explore new ideas.

- Fees: INR 15,000, which covers the cost of the course fees, study materials and residence and food costs when the participants are on campus.

Anant Design IsCool familiarise school students, parents and educators with the diverse facets of design. Through Design Thinking masterclasses and engaging hands-on modules led by renowned designers, participants explore filmmaking, entrepreneurship, product design, communication design, interaction design, visual arts and sustainable fashion.
The Anant Design IsCool welcomes all school students from grades 9 – 12, parents, school educators and administrators.
The fees for the Anant Design IsCool – Summer 2025 edition are INR 15,000, including lodging, boarding and workshop expenses.
Yes, all participants will receive a certificate upon completing the Anant Design IsCool.
Anant Design IsCool – Summer 2025 has two editions. Edition 1 is from 5 – 15 May 2025, and edition 2 is from 25 May to 5 June 2025. Stay tuned for details on the Winter edition.
No, Anant Design IsCool – Summer 2025 has two editions to accommodate students with varying school schedules.

The Anant Design IsCool participants occupy world-class, twin-sharing facilities on Anant National University’s campus. Air-conditioned rooms are available to the participants at the student residences of Anant National University. Separate residential blocks are designated for male and female occupants.
