More than 500 students from institutes across the state participated in the regional rounds of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav Hackathon 2022 hosted at Anant National University. These students were part of the 71 teams that took part in the hackathon organised by the State Education Department and Student Startup & Innovation Policy of Government of Gujarat.
As part of the process, the 71 teams were posed with 783 problem areas; the participating teams were allowed to choose one problem and work for 36 hours to develop creative, app-based solutions to the chosen problem under the guidance of the mentors. The winners of the regional round will find a place in the state level.
