Anant National University, India’s first DesignX university, is dedicated to training students to devise solutions for global problems through creative thinking.

About Office of External Engagement

The Office of Admissions and Outreach is responsible for an effective and efficient admission process in line with the vision of the University. The major functions of the Office include but are not limited to the following:

  • Advice students about programmes offered, admission procedure, eligibility and costs involved.
  • Follow up with students for any enquiries through direct meetings, phone calls or emails providing clarification in a professional manner.
  • Analyse the applications of prospective students based on the standard admission policies.
  • Coordinate with faculty members to conduct tests and interviews to enrol students.
  • Review applications of students who seek financial assistance.
  • Participate in events, open houses, education fairs, school visits and off campus events.
  • Work closely with academic staff and the marketing office to ensure effective transition of all applicants to students.
  • Develop strategies and enrolment plans in coordination with senior management to attract and enrol more students.
  • Maintain a database of students in order to generate reports for management for effective decision making whenever required.
  • Contribute to the continuous development and improvement ensuring high quality service.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

Counselling and Advising: Provide accurate and detailed information about academic programs, admission requirements, financial aid, scholarships, and campus life to prospective students, parents, and guidance counsellors

Application Process Management: Guide applicants through the entire application process, including assisting with application completion, reviewing application materials, and ensuring all required documents are submitted on time.

Interviews and Information Sessions: Conduct individual and group information sessions, interviews, and campus tours to help prospective students better understand the university’s offerings and make informed decisions about their educational goals.

Data Management: Maintain accurate records of prospective students’ interactions, application materials, and admissions decisions using the university’s designated databases.
