About Anant National University

Anant National University, India’s Premier Design University, is dedicated to training students to devise solutions for global problems through creative thinking.

About (Department):

The School of Design at Anant National University houses the Design Disciplines of the University, namely Space design, Product Design, Interaction Design, Communication Design, Sustainable Fashion & Textiles, Moving Image and Transdisciplinary Design. Apart from these majors, the school also offers a choice of minors in allied fields a few examples being minors in Design for Health & Wellbeing, Furniture Design, Urban Design etc. The programme educates designers about prevalent global problems and encourages them to propose path-breaking solutions. It facilitates personal development and allows students to explore practical design solutions through learning-by-doing modules.

Required Education Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field
  • Around 1–2 years of experience in administrative roles

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

    Course and Faculty Support:
     

  • Ensure timely support in course preparation, organizing materials, and managing online course portals.
  • Assist faculty in tracking student attendance, grading, and providing regular communication updates.
  • Provide administrative assistance for exams, juries, exhibitions, and student assignments.
  • Data Management in ERP System:
     

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student and course information in the ERP system, including enrolment, grading, attendance, and course schedules.
  • Ensure timely updates and reports on student progress and academic records in the ERP.
  • Administrative Coordination and Problem Solving:
     

  • Handle administrative tasks related to student performance tracking, faculty support, and event management.
  • Resolve administrative issues related to student courses, data management, or industry projects in a timely manner.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to the graphic design lab.
  • Keep track of all graphic design-related requests by other departments and programmes and update the tracking template regularly.
  • Communication & Reporting:
     

  • Provide regular updates to faculty and administration regarding course management, student performance, and industry partnerships.
  • Ensure clear, professional communication with all stakeholders, including faculty, students, and industry partners.
