Vishnupriya Rajgarhia

Vishnupriya Rajgarhia is a Levett Scholar from the University of Oxford, where she earned a Master’s in Fine Arts. An interactive artist, her practice and research look at the intersection of arts and policy. She was selected as the only SouthAsian Research fellow to represent the British Pavilion at the 58th Venice Biennale and has been a visiting faculty member at the University of Oxford and Ashoka University.

Recipient of two national-level medals, she was awarded the Kalanidhi Prize for Outstanding Contribution to the Arts by the Commissioner of the National Commission of Women at Lady Shri Ram College for Women in 2015.

Vishnupriya has exhibited her work at the London Met, the Canterbury Christ Church University, the Cass in the United Kingdom, KHOJ International Artists Association, Goethe Institute and Prameya Art Foundation. She has worked across the globe with renowned institutions like MIT and Oxford.

Vishnupriya is an Assistant Professor in the School of Design and is responsible for setting up the Centre for Visual Arts at Anant National University.
