Vijay Sekhon pursued his postgraduation in Professional Studies from the Interactive Telecommunications Department, Tisch School of the Arts, New York University, and is a postgraduate in Fine Arts with a specialisation in painting from M.S.University, Vadodara.

Vijay Sekhon is a transdisciplinary artist working across fields, such as painting, performance, film, writing and immersive environments. His primary research is on how to attune oneself to live more harmoniously. Through his art practice, he explores one’s relationship with others, the environment and the cosmos at large. He has worked professionally with Merchant and Ivory Productions in New York City and later with Reliance Industries in Mumbai as a creative producer.

Vijay Sekhon has been part of prestigious International Performance Art festivals and has exhibited his works in India, USA and Israel. His works are in various private collections and are part of Black Kit Performance Art Archive, Koln, Germany. He has also taught at Kamla Raheja School of Architecture, Mumbai and CEPT University, Ahmedabad.

Vijay Sekhon is an Associate Professor in the School of Design, Anant National University.
