Tamal Dutta, a Copy Writer, Script Writer and Author, has over 7 years of experience working with several Advertising Agencies. His core strength is crafting captivating communication for both traditional print mediums and dynamic social media platforms, spearheading innovative strategies to enhance the visibility of internal and external events.

 

At Anant, he is working as an Assistant Manager-Copy Writer in the Media and Communication Department. He is focused on preparing the content for press releases, monthly newsletters, articles, social media posts and video content.

 

Tamal has completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from North Maharashtra University. He has pursued several online writing courses and attended short-term scriptwriting and creative writing workshops.

 

Before joining Anant, he worked with Advertising Agencies, including Grey Worldwide, GoBananas INIT and 3rd Eye Event and Advertising, where he conceptualised and executed campaigns for renowned brands such as Luminous, Titan SF, MMTC-PAMP, Netmeds, ASUS, Volini, among others. His portfolio also includes content creation for prestigious events such as Millet Expo 2024, Khadi India 2024, Amul’s Golden Jubilee event 2024, etc.

 

As a Script Writer, Tamal has written around 300 episodes for a US-based Television Channel, TV Asia. He translated English episodes into Hindi for popular shows like Chota Bheem, American Restoration, Animals Gone Wild and Startup India. 

 

One of his short stories was published in ‘Everyone Has a Story, Anthology One’ by The Story Mint, New Zealand. Tamal’s other short story was published in the Anthology: Hope, which is dedicated to Dr APJ Abdul Kalaam. He has even contributed Hindi and English poems to several anthologies.

 

Prior to entering the Advertising industry, he worked for almost 5 years in the technical IT field and then in US-based recruiting firms like Collabera and IMS for hiring IT professionals based in the USA. He has even worked with the technical team in the Ireland process at Vodafone, Ahmedabad.

 

In his leisure time, Tamal loves singing and listening to old and new melodies, mostly in Hindi and Bengali. He is very fond of Rabindrasangeet and spends time learning new songs. He likes reading fiction and non-fiction books in English and Hindi and is passionate about exploring new destinations to indulge in natural beauty.
