Sumit is leading the Civic Tech and Digital initiatives at Janaagraha Centre for Citizenship and Democracy since May, 2019. Alongside, he is also pursuing an executive program in management from University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. He has managed and implemented the Swachhata Platform across India reaching more than 3200 cities, onboarding 18 million citizens on the platform, with a 95  percent resolution rate of the issues reported. He founded an IT Services firm, Ingeniocity, and worked with clients both Indian and international. Sumit comes with 18 years of work experience and wishes to use his experience at the Fellowship to start an organisation that works in the area of climate action through education, advocacy and consultancy.
