Prof. Rupa Singh holds B.Arch. (2011) degree from Piloo Mody College of Architecture, Cuttack and M.Plan. (2013) degree from CEPT University, Ahmedabad, where she was awarded Vastu Shilpa Foundation Award for the Best Graduating Student. She worked as Junior Town Planner for two and a half years at Gujarat Petroleum, Chemicals & Petrochemicals Special Investment Regional Development Authority (GPCPSIRA), a Government of Gujarat Undertaking before joining AnantU.
Prof. Singh is passionate about research in fields of Sustainability, Urban Issues and Governance and had presented papers at International Conferences in India and abroad. Her recent paper presentation was at ‘The Asian Conference on Sustainability, Energy and the Environment 2018’ at Kobe, Japan. She is an enthusiastic learner and keeps herself updated by attending workshops, seminars, conferences. Ms. Rupa believes in experiential learning, and loves trekking in The Himalayas.
Rupa has been with AnantU for more than two years now and teaches courses in Architecture and Planning Department. Few of the courses taken by her are Building Regulations, Urban and Rural Governance, Regional Planning, Housing, Verbal and Written Communications, Development Plan Lab, Regional Planning Lab, etc. She is also a member of Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) and Gender Champions (Nirantar) at Anant National University.
