Rupa Singh pursued her undergraduate studies in Architecture from Piloo Mody College of Architecture, Cuttack and her postgraduate studies in Planning from CEPT University, Ahmedabad, where she was awarded the Vastu Shilpa Foundation Award for the Best Graduating Student.

Prior to her joining Anant National University she worked as Junior Town Planner for two and a half years at Gujarat Petroleum, Chemicals & Petrochemicals Special Investment Regional Development Authority (GPCPSIRDA), an undertaking by the Government of Gujarat.

Professor Singh’s research in the fields of sustainability, urban issues, and governance has led her to present papers at several international conferences in India and abroad. Her recent paper presentation was at ‘The Asian Conference on Sustainability, Energy and the Environment 2018’ at Kobe, Japan.

Professor Singh is an Assistant Professor at Anant National University.
