Professor Rattan Gangadhar is an alumnus of the Industrial Design Center, IIT Bombay, which he joined after completing his B.E. in Machine Tool Engineering from the University of Mumbai.

Professor Gangadhar has remained the Head of the Transportation, Product & Digital Design at the Institut Superieur de Design Rubika, DSK International Campus, Pune. He has held several positions at General Motors, India, where he led several teams to execute global design projects for General Motors Design Center.

Professor Gangadhar has worked closely with several design consultancies and automotive OEMs in India. He has worked as a motorcycle designer at Escorts Yamaha Ltd. where one of his stand-out projects was the redesigning of Yamaha RX-Z for the Indian market.

Rattan Gangadhar is an Associate Professor and the Programme Director of Master of Design in Integrated Product Design at Anant National University.
