Parth Atulkumar Shah wears multiple hats at Anant National University, serving as an Assistant Professor at the School of Design and Senior Manager, Makerspace. As Senior Manager, he oversees the operations of the Wood, Metal and Digital Labs. His responsibilities include procuring new equipment, managing administration, inventory and purchases, and ensuring the effective functioning of the facilities. With strong technical expertise, he develops proofs of concept, mock-ups and prototypes that support innovative academic and institutional projects.

In his role as Assistant Professor in the Product Design department, Parth teaches courses including Design for Social Impact, Design for Smart Objects, Digital Manufacturing, Speculative Design, UI/UX, Human Computer Interaction, Artificial Intelligence in Design, 3D Modelling and Product Design Studios and Workshops. With over a decade of teaching experience, he brings practical, industry-oriented insights into classrooms, studios and laboratories.

Before joining Anant National University, Parth worked at SAL Education Campus, where he contributed to the Mechatronics Department and Incubation Centre. His work included teaching, research and institution-building initiatives. He also represented the institution at prominent platforms such as the Vibrant Gujarat Summits, i-Hub Startup Conclave, Education Expo and iCreate.

As part of his academic journey, Parth completed dissertation projects at Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Limited and undertook his diploma project at the Institute for Plasma Research in Bhat, Gandhinagar.

Beyond academia, Parth is actively involved in the startup ecosystem. He mentors students and helps them transform early-stage ideas into viable ventures. Through his academic, technical and managerial roles, he contributes to fostering creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship within the university community.
