Niyati Shah, an Assistant Manager of Marketing and Communications at Anant National University, has expertise in digital marketing, creating communication strategies and managing social media platforms.
At Anant, Niyati oversees marketing and communications, as well as admissions for our flagship programme, Anant Fellowship. She manages digital marketing campaigns and ensures a strong presence on social media platforms. Additionally, she is responsible for the design and communication strategies for the programme, ensuring cohesive and engaging outreach efforts.
Niyati completed her graduation in English Literature from St Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad. She has pursued her Postgraduate Diploma in Built Environment from Anant National University. As an Anant Fellow, she has also received the President’s Award for Best Academic Performance from the Cohort of 2022.
Previously, she served as a Project Manager with the State Youth Board, Government of Gujarat, where she managed events, policy development and public relations. She also supported emerging handicraft start-ups like Chhapak in building their online presence.
During the pandemic, Niyati founded her own venture to promote traditional hand-dyeing crafts in India, creating stationery and textile products, and organising workshops and exhibitions.
Additionally, she is passionate about exploring the intersection of culture, heritage and design. She is dedicated to documenting and preserving heritage through various art forms. Niyati is also a trained Kathak dancer with over 14 years of experience in choreography and performance.
