Mohit, an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer since 2013, is currently posted as Superintendent of Police at Narayanpur District of Chhattisgarh. Mohit is working with Left Wing Extremism Hub; Internally Displaced Communities as well as Primitive Tribal Groups and has been involved in greening and recycling drives and camps. He started highly successful community policing initiatives of ‘Manva Puna Bijapur’ (Our Changing Bijapur in Gondi) and ‘Ghotiyal Police’ connecting more than 30,000 youth through sports, and educational and cultural activities. He has also transformed police stations into citizen and employee-friendly units. In recognition of his contributions, Mohit has been conferred the prestigious 1st Bar Police Medal for Gallantry and National Award. He is an alumnus of IIM-Ahmedabad and Acumen fellowship.
