Mayank Suthar, a Lab Supervisor at Makerspace in Anant National University, has over 10 years of carpentry experience. His expertise includes various aspects of woodworking, including the design, construction and finishing of structural elements.
At Anant, he assists faculty and students in making models and prototypes, operates the laser engraving machine, and helps manage stocks and machine maintenance.
Mayank holds a Diploma in Computer Engineering from K P Thakkar Institute of Technology (GTU) in Sokali, Viramgam, Gujarat. He further specialised by completing a course in Wooden Furniture from Skill India.
Throughout his career, he has honed his abilities in reading blueprints, selecting appropriate materials and utilising a range of hand and power tools. This extensive experience not only demonstrates his technical proficiency but also reflects his commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail in every project he undertakes.
When not in Makerspace, Mayank explores new projects related to wooden techniques and enjoys discovering new computer software. He also finds joy in travelling by car, watching films and playing sports.
