Dr Brajesh Dhiman is a seasoned design professional with over two decades of experience spanning industrial design and academia. As a Professor at the School of Design and Director of Design Research, he brings a unique blend of industry insight and academic depth to his role.

His professional journey includes impactful work at TATA Elxsi and the Indian Institute of Technology, where he contributed significantly to research and design initiatives. A recipient of the prestigious Tata Group Extra Mile Award, Dr Dhiman has also made notable academic contributions through his publications in high-impact international journals and Scopus-indexed design conferences.

He holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Design from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, reflecting his strong academic foundation and research orientation.

Outside of his professional and academic pursuits, Dr Dhiman is an avid adventurer with a passion for high-altitude trekking, bringing the same spirit of exploration and endurance to his work and leadership.
