Bhoomi Ruparel, a Senior Library Assistant at Anant National University, has a total of 12 years of combined experience as a librarian and library assistant at several institutions. She is committed to helping students, faculties and staff by offering excellent service as well as ensuring that library materials are easily available and well-organised.

At Anant, Bhoomi oversees the Learning Commons (Library). Her role comprises overseeing library resources, arranging library collections and managing daily library operations. 

She graduated from Smt N C Gandhi and Smt B V Gandhi Mahila Arts and Commerce College in Bhavnagar, where she received a Bachelor’s degree in arts with a specialisation in economics. She then pursued a Master’s in library and information science at Bhavnagar University.

Prior to joining Anant as a Senior Library Assistant, Bhoomi worked as a librarian at the Shreyas Foundation in Ahmedabad.

When not at the library, she could be found on her next travel adventure with family and friends. In addition to her academic pursuits, she proudly represented her University in the sport of volleyball. She also has a small entrepreneurship of handmade chocolates. She enjoys cooking, reading and watching movies.
