On 26th August 2020, the 15th webinar on ‘Designing Cities for Vulnerable Populations’ was conducted. It focused on discussing the adoption of innovative models that a city can adapt to cater to the vulnerable population of our society. Hosted by M:UD (Master’s in Urban Design, AnantU), the panellists for the webinar were Dr Anuradha Jain (USAID), Dr Renu Khosla (Centre for Urban and Regional Excellence (CURE)), Dr Damodar Bachani (Building Healthy Cities Project, JSI), Mr. Rahul Srivastavas and Mr Matias Echanove (URBZ). Professor Ashima Banker, Director, M:UD, Anant National University, served as the moderator.
Designing Cities for Vulnerable Populations’ was organised as part of the Anant National University’s series of live and interactive webinars under the By Design platform where we reach to a wider students community and generate awareness about Anant National University and our specific take on architecture and design education.
