B.Arch students of Anant National University participated in the 64th Edition of the Annual NASA Convention, held in Bengaluru, between 1st – 4th June 2022. Thirty architecture students across the years represented AnantU. Organised by the National Association of Students of Architecture, 4500 students from 200+ architecture colleges across the nation attended the convention.

AnantU received the membership status and won various accolades, including our B.Arch alumnus Rachit Joshi receiving the citation in Ethos Trophy, and Vaibhavi Bhatt’s entry was shortlisted for the same trophy. Besides, two student projects got shortlisted for the Top 24 and Top 100 under the Annual NASA Design Competition. Our students officially presented the zonal newsletter, developed in collaboration with L.S. Raheja School of Architecture, Mumbai, and was formally launched at the event.

As part of this event, students got the opportunity to attend various keynote speeches by esteemed architects such as BV Doshi, Neelkanth Chhaya, Sanjay Mohe, Namith Varma, and Dean D’Cruz. Several masterclasses were conducted which offered a closer look into the architect’s work culture and their best works. A Q&A session was organised for students where they got the chance to interact with the practicing architects and celebrated experts, including Benny Kuriakose, Rajesh Shivaram, Vivek P.P., and Bijoy Ramchandran. The convention concluded with different cultural events besides other icebreaking sessions and other events.
