Dr. Shashikant Kumar is a planning consultant by profession with social sciences background with PhD (Geography, MSU, 2014), M.A. (Geography, MSU, 1992) and PG Diploma in Planning (CEPT University, 1996). He has over 21 year of consulting and research experience in Urban & Regional Planning and Geoinformatics (GIS/RS). He is professor and Principal, Masters of Planning at Bhaikaka Centre for Human Settlement, APIED, Vallabh vidhyanagar (Anand). He is also Director of Green Eminent, Vadodara, a firm providing consulting services and research in URP and Geoinformatics.
At ANU he spoke about “Breaking the Myth of ‘Urban’ Development Challenges for Region- India Urban League 20:20”.
