This capstone explores the revitalisation of urban Anganwadis in Ahmedabad by re-imagining their spatial design to address existing challenges and improve functionality. The aim is to create safe, inclusive and stimulating environments for children, caregivers and the community. Key objectives include identifying current issues, integrating child-centric and user-friendly principles, fostering community participation and following government guidelines. The project highlights the use of prefab construction for a cost-effective, rapid and sustainable solution that remains culturally rooted and adaptable to urban needs within space, budget and ICDS norms.
