About Anant National University

Anant National University, India’s first DesignX university, is dedicated to training students to devise solutions for global problems. The X in Design X is the symbol drawn from mathematics, representing enhancement. This new learning approach multiplies traditional design pedagogy with liberal arts disciplines, emerging technologies and knowledge drawn from hands-on community experiences to help understand our world better and to devise impactful solutions.

Role Description

  • Clean and Organise Datasets : Use Excel tools such as pivot tables, formulas and charts to clean, structure and visualise datasets.
  • Write Basic Python Scripts : Assist in writing and running simple Python scripts to automate data transformation tasks, streamline workflows and improve data efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Data Manager : Work closely with the data manager to support an ongoing data-driven project, contributing to updating internal databases.
  • Maintain Data Accuracy and Consistency : Ensure data integrity by regularly verifying sources, updating records and maintaining consistency across formats and platforms.

Skills Required

  • Strong Research and Analytical Skills : Strong proficiency in Excel and basic knowledge of Python (Pandas, reading CSVs, loops, basic scripting) to identify relevance and distill insights into concise, structured formats.
  • Detail-Oriented and Organised : Systematic approach to data collection and management with high accuracy and clarity.
  • Curiosity and Contextual Understanding : A genuine interest in building connections with the ability to understand what makes a profile noteworthy or strategic.

Bonus Skills (not required but good to have):

Experience with Jupyter Notebook or any BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
