Sh. Rahul Pachori is a distinguished officer in the Indian Railway Service, currently serving as the Director in the office of the Minister of State for Education, Shri Jayant Chaudhary, in the Ministry of Education.

In the Ministry, he has demonstrated exceptional skills in policy formulation and implementation, notably through his collaboration with the World Bank on the STARS (Strengthening Teaching-Learning and Results for States) project. He has been instrumental in advancing teacher education, overseeing the operations of PARAKH—the National Assessment Centre —and contributing significantly to the SAMAGRA SHIKSHA scheme across various States and Union Territories. Shri Pachori is an accomplished author with many articles and academic papers to his name. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from NIT Bhopal and is an accredited Energy Auditor. He is also an alumnus of the Advanced Management Program in Public Policy from the prestigious Indian School of Business (ISB). He is pursuing his PhD from IIM Indore.
