Piyush Makwana, a Stack Assistant in the Learning Commons (Library) at Anant National University, has expertise in library science and management, particularly within the context of academic libraries. His skills include the effective organisation and categorisation of library materials, which ensures easy access for users.

At Anant, his responsibilities include managing the physical process of sorting and shelving library materials, ensuring the smooth operation of daily library activities and assisting both students and faculty in locating library resources.

Piyush is a graduate of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (BAOU) in Ahmedabad, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree through distance learning.

Prior to joining Anant, he worked with the National Institute of Design (NID) in Ahmedabad in the same capacity. He has five years of valuable experience from his tenure at NID Ahmedabad, which has equipped him with a strong foundation in design principles and practices. This background enhances his ability to contribute effectively to his current role at Anant.

When not in his library, Piyush enjoys embarking on new adventures with his family and friends. He finds great pleasure in travelling, exploring new destinations and experiencing diverse cultures, which enrich his perspectives and inspire his creativity.
