Indra is Partner, BDO in India. He has more than 22 years of experience in the domain of sustainability, EHS and climate change.

He has worked extensively in advisory and implementation of sustainability and climate change strategy, building roadmaps with targets aligned to business goals, indexing sustainability performance and impact assessment, sustainable sourcing, sustainability reporting, and assurance, carbon footprint mapping/GHG accounting, monitoring and verification, due-diligence, carbon transaction, risk mapping, low carbon transformation. He is an expert in EHS studies involving compliance management, due diligence, risk assessments, policy framing, and review of governance structure.

Indra has worked across diverse industry sectors, such as metal and mining, oil & gas, chemical, pharma, power utility, automotive, fertiliser, etc. He has also worked extensively with the government, funding agencies like ClimateWorks/Shakti Foundation, DFID, GIZ and with NGOs like WWF on climate policy related assignments.


Before TTC, Indra spent a major part of his professional career with Ernst & Young LLP (EY) for 14 years where he led the north team as Executive Director prior to his stint with Jubilant as Chief Sustainability Officer.

Indra is a graduate in Civil Engineering from BE College, with a masters from IIT Kharagpur and has completed Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from IIM Kolkata.
