Team of eleven students and three professors, developed a comprehensive decision support system user interface to assist police in ensuring safety and security during Rathyatra. An extension of the MOU on Cybersafe Mission signed between Anant National University and the Gujarat Police, the project aimed at equipping the police force with a visualisation tool to assist them in real-time monitoring and enhance situational awareness and decision-making process.
The project generated a comprehensive dataset using photogrammetric methods, drone mapping, photogrammetry and geotagging. The entire route of 20 km was mapped, with nearly 140 drone flights and about three lack photographs to build the city’s computer-generated model.
