Anant National University’s B.Arch. and landscape architecture students from the Graduate School of Architecture Planning and Preservation, Columbia University, came together for a collaborative studio. Themed on water and architecture, the innovative studio exposed budding architects to various aspects of Indian culture that establish ritualistic relationships with water.
From immersive workshops to enlightening discussions, the students experienced the beauty of cultural intersections. This journey culminated in a creative exploration showcased through an inspiring exhibition and a lecture on Water and Architecture by Dr Meghal Arya, a celebrated architect and educator!
Eminent architects, academics, practitioners and researchers, including Dr Mansee Bal Bhargava, Sahir Patel, Aniket Bhagwat and Mona Iyer, conducted guest lectures as part of the collaborative studio.
