Innovative Inclusive Spaces for the Elderly
Hely Bhavsar, a Graduate of the Class of 2024 with Space Design as major and Furniture Design as minor, designs innovative, inclusive spaces for the elderly.
The objective was to create inclusive spaces for elderly people. Under the mentorship of Prof Neha Vin, Adjunct Assistant Professor, School of Design, Hely crafted inclusive spaces where older adults can live, socialise and thrive.
Hely designed her thesis to explore community spaces tailored to seniors’ needs, emphasising accessibility, safety and inclusivity.
Hely is currently working as an Interior Designer at Studio PVDRS.
