Interventions to Help Diagnose Anxiety in Paediatric Patients
Akshatha Bhat, a Graduate of the Class of 2024 with Transdisciplinary Design as major and Moving Image as minor, designs interventions to help diagnose anxiety in Paediatric patients.
The objective was to address the mental health challenges faced by paediatric patients. Under the mentorship of Prof Bhargav Padhiyar, Assistant Professor, School of Design, Akshatha designs BREEZE, which helps to diagnose anxiety in pediatric patients, especially those with respiratory conditions, during hospitalisation to serve the purpose.
Hailing from Bengaluru, Akshatha proposes a set of interactive and visually stimulating products designed to reduce anxiety by blending distraction with information.
