Abhinaba Paul

Abhinaba Paul, a Graduate of the Class of 2024 with Communication Design as major and Moving Image as minor, designed a Virtual Reality experience with traditional practices.

The objective was to create a virtual reality experience that seamlessly integrates guided meditation with ancient healing techniques, including audio frequencies, breathing exercises and mindfulness. Under the mentorship of Prof Amitabh Pandey, Professor and Lead, Communication Design, School of Design, Abhinaba designed ‘Soulscape’, which combines VR technology with various traditional practices to serve the purpose.

Hailing from Gurgaon, Abhinaba created a tranquil and therapeutic space that enhances mental clarity, relaxation and emotional well-being.

Currently, Abhinaba is designated as an Immersive Media Specialist at Pugmark Qmulus Consortium. He is also further working on his Capstone Project along with a few people as a personal project to develop it as a solution.
