Gunja Ganatra, a Postgraduate of the Class of 2024 with Product Design as major, designs a unique eyewear collection for Kamal Opticaid Pvt Ltd.
Kamal Opticaid Pvt Ltd wanted a new collection for their brand with a unique blend of eyewear and automotive design. Under the mentorship of Prof Khushboo Shah (designation not found), School of Design and sponsored by Kamal Opticaid Pvt Ltd, Gunja designed the Apex Eyewear Collection, inspired by the aesthetics, lines and design language of cars.
Hailing from Rajkot, Gujarat, Gunja analysed the shapes, materials and finishes commonly found in car design and translated those elements into eyewear form.
