Shaivee Jhaveri

Shaivee Jhaveri, a Graduate of the Class of 2024 with Space Design as major and Furniture Design as minor, designs a heritage jewellery showroom with modern retail requirements.

The objective was to offer customers an immersive cultural experience while highlighting the jewellery collection. Under the mentorship of Prof Sangramsinh Parmar, Associate Professor and Lead, Space Design, School of Design, Shaivee designed Heritage Heirlooms, a cohesive interior design for a jewellery showroom, blending heritage with modern retail requirements.

Shaivee conducted extensive research into the cultural and artistic traditions of Gujarat, Rajasthan, South India and Bengal, focusing on their architecture, motifs, art forms, paintings and classical furniture to create this experiential showroom.
