About Anant National University

Anant National University, India’s first DesignX university, is dedicated to training students to devise solutions for global problems through creative thinking.

About ASCA

The Anant School for Climate Action aims to be the hub for climate-related research and action in India. The department fosters innovative research in sustainable construction materials, green cement production, and other climate-resilient technologies.

Required education qualification

Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Materials Engineering

years of experience

Minimum 3 years of research experience in material characterization, sustainable construction materials, and their optimization

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

  • Conduct advanced research on the development of green cement through chemical transformation and optimization.
  • Explore innovative uses of materials such as bentonite, red mud, and fly ash for sustainable concrete development.
  • Lead experimental setups and material testing methodologies to validate green cement formulations.
  • Develop mathematical models for optimizing cement properties using multi-objective optimization techniques.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and test novel sustainable construction materials.
  • Supervise and mentor graduate and doctoral students working on material science projects.
  • Publish research findings in reputed international journals and present at conferences.

Key Skills

  • Expertise in material characterization and concrete optimization
