The Strategic Development Office (SDO) has been created as part of the Office of the Provost to act as the command centre of the University. The SDO has been formed to create a strategy roadmap for the future of Anant National University in pursuit of its stated vision and mission. In order to achieve this goal, the SDO regularly collates information from various schools, offices and centres at Anant and proposes policy interventions, creates big picture implementation plans and functions as directed by the statutory management bodies of the University.

  • 1. Strategy
    • a. Research, develop and deliver on annual strategic growth plans and provide advice in alignment with the values and objectives of the University of preparing and empowering solutionaries through design thinking
    • b. Create pitch documents, development/industry notes, SOPs and SOWs etc for key stakeholders and senior leadership
    • c. Prioritise and manage multiple deliverables related to brand building
    • d. Prepare periodic updates for key stakeholders and create compelling narratives for internal and external communication
  • 2. Contribute to the functioning of the Office of the Provost
    • a. Assist with coordination, meetings and administration within the Office of the Provost
    • b. Coordinate with faculty, administrative staff and consultants ; supervise
      student interns to help the Office of the Provost with data and efficient functioning
    • c. Contribute to academic administration within the University; monitor institutional partnerships, programme assessment and launch of new ventures
  • 3. Monitoring and Evaluation
    • a. Monitor and evaluate the progress and success of projects undertaken by
      academic and non-academic verticals of the University through periodic
      reporting
    • b. Track and analyse results to assess effectiveness and make necessary
      improvements
  • 1. A self-motivated, curious and creative problem solver with relevant technology
    skills required to work with in a design institution
  • 2. Excellent data management skills, diligence and an eye for detail
  • 3. Strong editorial, proofreading and writing skills in English
  • 4. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication capabilities
  • 5. Capacity to handle multiple projects and adhere to deadlines in demanding
    situations
  • 6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
