About Anant National University

Anant National University, India’s first DesignX university, is dedicated to training students to devise solutions for global problems through creative thinking.

Our DesignX way is unique in helping young designers develop a better understanding of the context we live in through community immersion, innovation and collaboration. About Student Services

The Office of Student Services provides campus life, residential life, well-being and other support services to all students of Anant National University, including international students, exchange
students and student interns. It also serves as the single point of access for family, parents or local guardians of all students. The Office of Student Services works closely with and supports student activities on campus, including the Students’ Council, Student Clubs and Societies, and at Anant residences with the help of our student Residence Assistants.

Our university's hostel is a vibrant and inclusive residential community dedicated to providing a supportive living environment for students. With modern facilities and a commitment to student well-being, our hostel serves as a home away from home.

Hostel Experience

  • Cultivate a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere within the hostel to create a positive living experience for students.
  • Implement and maintain high standards of cleanliness in common areas and facilities.
  • Ensure good quality and variety of food provided to residents.
  • Implement programmes and initiatives that promote community building and social engagement among residents.
  • Address and resolve concerns related to hostel facilities, amenities, and services to enhance overall satisfaction.

Administration and Student Services

  • Oversee the day-to-day administration of the hostel, including check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure maintenance and cleanliness of hostel facilities.
  • Manage student accommodation requests, coordinate room allocations, and address special accommodation needs.
  • Provide guidance and support to students on administrative processes and
    university policies.
  • Conduct regular meetings with residence assistants to discuss concerns, provide guidance, and share relevant information.

Student Life

  • Facilitate and encourage extracurricular activities, events, and workshops that contribute to the holistic development of students.
  • Support student clubs and organizations within the hostel to promote a vibrant and dynamic community.
  • Collaborating with sports departments and coaches to spot and nurture talent.
  • Facilitating inter-residential competitions to promote a sense of community and healthy competition.

Data Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student residents, including contact information, emergency contacts, and special considerations.
  • Utilize data management systems to track student attendance, incidents, and requests.
  • Generate regular reports for university administration on hostel occupancy, incidents, and other relevant data.

Safety and Security

  • Collaborate with security personnel to ensure the safety and security of hostel residents.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Address security concerns promptly and communicate effectively during emergency situations.

Conflict Resolution

  • Act as a mediator in conflicts among residents and facilitate conflict resolution processes.
  • Implement disciplinary actions in accordance with university policies when necessary.
  • Encourage open communication and address issues proactively to maintain a harmonious living environment.
