  • Master’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, communications, or a related field

Content Creation and Management:

  • Create and curate content for the university’s website, social media channels, newsletters, and other communication platforms.
  • Maintain and update content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and consistency.

Social Media Management:

  • Manage the university’s social media presence, including content creation, scheduling, and monitoring engagement.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms.

Internal Communications:

  • Collaborate with various university departments to ensure consistent internal communication.
  • Create and distribute internal newsletters, announcements, and updates.

Event Promotion:

  • Promote university events, lectures, workshops, and other activities through various communication channels.

Brand Management:

  • Ensure the consistent use of the university’s branding guidelines in all communications.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining the university’s brand image.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Monitor the performance of communication efforts and use data analytics to make informed decisions and improvements.


  • Collaborate with various university departments, faculty, and staff to gather information and promote university initiatives effectively.

Media Relations:

  • Cultivate relationships with local, national, and international media outlets, and serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries.
  • Draft press releases, media advisories, and pitch stories to the media.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, social media, and content management systems.
  • Experience with analytics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
