About Anant National University

Anant National University, India’s first DesignX university, is dedicated to training students to devise solutions for global problems through creative thinking.

About (Anant School for Climate Action)

The school has Anant School for Climate Action, established at Anant National University, is located in Ahmedabad, a UNESCO World Heritage City. The school is India’s first education institution offering undergraduate to PhD degree programmes focusing on climate change. The school offers BTech in Climate Change and postgraduate fellowships on Climate Action and sustainability and built environment.

Anant School for Climate Action is involved in research through its research centre, Anant Centre for Sustainability (ACFS), a think-teach-do-tank that focuses on climate action, affordable housing, indigenous models of circular economy, and on building sustainable education campuses in India.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

  • Development of nanoscience laboratory under the guidance of the supervisor
  • Conducting research in accordance with the research group
  • Preparing documentation of research activities
  • Analyzing and interpreting research findings
  • Assisting with teaching classes
  • Working cooperatively with the supervisor and other co-workers
  • Writing project proposal in the domain of work done by the research group

Key Skills

Synthesis of nanomaterials for environmental remediation applications, Structural and magnetism analysis (X-ray diffraction, particle size analyzer, Vibrating sample magnetometer, SEM, TEM etc) the synthesized nanoparticles, expertise on development of nanofluids/ferrofluids for refrigeration applications, Ferrofluid Devises, green synthesis of nanoparticles and its complete analysis, Magneto optics.
