About the Sustainable Fashion and Textile Design Department

The Sustainable Fashion and Textile Design Department focuses on fostering innovative practices in fashion and textiles that are environmentally and socially responsible. The department engages students in projects that address sustainability challenges within the industry, encouraging creative solutions through design thinking and collaboration.

 

Required Education Qualification

Currently enrolled in Anant in SoD majoring in Sustainable Fashion and Textile Design (SFTD), Communication Design (CD), or Interaction Design (IxD).

Years of Experience:

Freshers welcome with practical project experience.

 

 

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

  1. Social Media Management:
    • Manage and curate content for the department’s social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook), ensuring a consistent and professional brand voice.
  2. Content Creation:
    • Develop engaging content related to sustainable fashion and textile design, including posts, infographics, short videos, and stories that promote the department’s sustainability-driven projects and events.
  3. Promotion and Awareness Creation:
    • Actively promote and create awareness about the Sustainable Fashion and Textile Design department’s projects, achievements, and sustainability initiatives through strategic digital campaigns and outreach efforts.
  4. Collateral Development:
    • Design and produce visually appealing marketing collaterals (such as brochures, posters, infographics, and digital assets) to communicate the department’s goals and work in sustainability and ethical fashion practices.
  5. Event Promotion:
    • Support the promotion of department events, workshops, and sustainability initiatives through online campaigns and collaborations with industry partners.

 

Key Skills

  1. Strong interest in sustainable fashion practices.
  2. Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook) and a good understanding of digital marketing trends.
  3. Strong writing and communication skills.
  4. Strong graphic design skills and familiarity with tools like Canva, Photoshop, or similar.
