About Anant School for Climate Action

Anant School for Climate Action, Anant National University, Ahmedabad, is India’s first education institution offering comprehensive climate-focused programs at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including a distinctive Bachelor of Technology in Climate Change. Notably, the BTech in Climate Change is India’s first and only engineering degree program that prepares students to create technology solutions for climate change.

Required Education qualifications:

  • Applicants should have a PhD degree in Energy/Environmental/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering along with BE/BTech/BS and ME/MTech/MS in above subjects in first class.

Years of Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of full-time teaching/ research/professional work experience in the area of Energy/Environmental/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Minimum of two publications in SCI/SCOPUS Journals

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

  • Teaching and developing a high-quality curriculum for the courses aligned with Energy/Environmental/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering
  • Teaching a minimum of 16 hours per week and delivering associated results such as student grades, feedback and mentor applied research projects
  • Participating and contributing to relevant leadership committees, boards, groups at Anant National University.
  • Actively developing the labs related to her/his area of teaching and research at Anant School of Climate Action in hand with the Director of the Anant School for Climate Action and the Provost of Anant National University.
  • Secure grants and work for research projects and publish a minimum of tworesearch publications in an academic year in SCI/SCOPUS indexed journals.

  • Demonstrate excellence in research, including research grants and peer reviewed publications, in the relevant field.
