Professor Amitabh Pandey has pursued his postgraduation in Communication Design from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad Campus. He is a former student and faculty member of the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, He is an insightful facilitator trained in the area of PLA (Participatory Learning and Action), adult learning, and participatory communication. He practices participatory approaches in communication for social and behaviour change. Professor Pandey has more than 24 years of experience and has used his technical skills and training of Communication Design in successfully running health/sanitisation/education/water-related campaigns in critical sectors of Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh.

Before joining AnantU, Professor Pandey was associated with UNICEF Bihar as a Senior State Consultant – Communication for Development along with contributing his knowledge to many prestigious design schools such as NID, NIFT, MICA to name a few.
